Aashni Kumar's endeavours are imagined at the intersection of craftsmanship, individuality, and a penchant for detail orientation.
Aashni Kumar graduated from Academic Interior Design at Florence Design Academy, ranked 1st among the best Interior Design schools globally. Her creative journey began at her first job at Harvard Business School while she worked as a Research Associate on a paper titled “Introduction of Fashion Journalism in India”.
After a short design marketing course at Istituto Marangoni, London, she returned to pursue Photo Editing in the art department at Vogue. She then moved on to a French fashion luxury magazine, L’Officiel, to become a Fashion Writer.
Her natural affiliation towards creativity drove her to Interior Design. In 2011, she co-founded Studio Flamingo. After a decade at Studio Flamingo, Aashni Kumar has launched an independent design house undertaking residential and commercial Interior Design and Architecture projects worldwide. She has worked on over 50 projects across 10 Indian and 2 Middle-Eastern cities.
